Evaluate business unit requests for new or modified components for our low-latency, blended hardware and software posttrade systems and financial systems. Lead technical direction, design, development, training, and discussions regarding data management, machine learning and optimization components for posttrade analysis. Develop and maintain proprietary software tools in Python for posttrade system monitoring. Troubleshoot systems in software and hardware in order to resolve operational and posttrade technical issues.
Requirements:
Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Quantitative Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in the position offered or as Middle Office Data Analyst, Middle Office Analyst, or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience in software development, program design, computer theory, data structure, Python programming, object-oriented programming, and software engineering. Experience performing statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, data analysis, and time series analysis. Experience using the following ML techniques: linear/logistic regression. Experience with the following programming languages: Python, SQL, and Linux/Unix. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with required skills.
