Infrastructure Programmer- New York, NY- Evaluate business unit requests for new or modified components for our low-latency, blended hardware & software trading system. Lead technical direction, design, development, training, & discussions regarding software & hardware components for the trading system. Develop & maintain proprietary software tools in C++ & Python for trading system monitoring. Troubleshoot system in software & hardware to resolve operational issues.
Requirements:
Master's (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in the position offered or as Core Developer, PostTrade Developer, or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience with diagnosing errors & troubleshooting systems in software & hardware to resolve operational issues. Experience producing testing harnesses & processes in C++ & Python. Experience utilizing Python, Javascript, Rust, C++, & SQL for software development and software maintenance, debugging & system administration. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with required skills.
