Work on developing and maintaining US based customer/network/wholesale microservices. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain various applications in area of ordering, provisioning, billing, long distance wholesale and retail like RADIS (Routing analysis data information system), CORE (Customer order entry systems), ETFI (Enhanced toll-free interface system), LIMS (Logical inventory management system), CPG (CenturyLink provisioning gateway), APRIL (Automated Provisioning Infrastructure Layer system). Work on Java, DotNet, C/C++, HTML coding, including systems like HP, Linux/Unix, Sun Solaris, Windows, Mainframe. Work closely with teams for application deployment, end to end business testing. Maintain all the supported Mainframe applications and systems. Monitor all scheduled batch jobs, crons and Control-M jobs executions. Narrate the business flow during brainstorming and incident SWAT calls. Work with teams to create user stories or daily tasks for the required development work in the Agile Kanban board which explains application task features, limitations, acceptance criteria and target completion. Prepare the high level and low-level design and support documents as needed. Translate user requests into application system solutions. Perform automations on daily repetitive tasks. Analyze system user requirements to define and design system configuration, enhancements, and modifications. Create and define support procedures, trouble-shoot client issues with high level data analysis and project review and ensure to maintain the SLA (Service Level Agreements). Work on end-to-end intake process for new project and application, such as planning, estimation, design, operational readiness review, and code deployment. Host daily and weekly calls to track resolve and escalate outstanding issues and open incidents, requests, tasks, and problem requests. Update DR (Disaster Recovery) plans to ensure business continuity during any crisis. Participate in hardware and memory capacity planning and application performance monitoring activities. Work in building, deploying, configuring the applications as and when functionality changes in the applications. Identify, plan, and execute migration projects through identifying systems and applications which are running on out of support infrastructure and contain security risk. Utilize: Shell Script, Perl Script, Dot Net applications, AppDynamics, Zabbix, Splunk, ServiceNow. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Shell Script, Perl Script, Dot Net applications, AppDynamics, Zabbix, Splunk, ServiceNow. $179,982.00 per year.
