Participate in sprint planning, provide work estimates to deliver development stories on a variety of platforms according to business requirements. Design, develop, configure, program and implement software applications, web services (Restful and SOAP), packages and components customized to meet specific needs and requirements. Develop batch apps using spring batch framework to process large amount of data. Assist in development of automated testing using BDD framework and supporting code as necessary. Develop end to end application components involving business layer, persistence layer, and database and web services layer. Review and modify programs to ensure technical accuracy, security and reliability. Develop and execute unit test cases. Open and document defect tickets using ticketing tools like ServiceNow. Develop continuous delivery pipeline to run code quality checks, security scans and for deployment process. Provide quality documentation, and status updates. Participate in migration of urban code deployment process to Gitops. Utilize: Java Programming Language, Spring Web model-view-controller (MVC) framework, Spring Batch, Relational Databases, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Hibernate, Jenkins, HP ServiceManager (HPSM).
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related and two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Java Programming Language, Spring Web model-view-controller (MVC) framework, Spring Batch, Relational Databases, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Hibernate, Jenkins, HP ServiceManager (HPSM).
