Associate Vice President, Technology Solutions, F/T @ TD Securities (USA) LLC (NY, NY) Develop & execute on high level technology strategy, including design & implementation of a scalable & resilient trader tool functionality for risk & pricing analytics.
Position requires Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Management, Engineering, or related field, & 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as Director; Senior Developer; Application Developer; Software Engineer; or related. Full term of experience must include: Building & delivering scalable & distributed systems; Building & maintaining large scale systems that have been successfully delivered to customers; Programming languages including C++; Microsoft SQL Server technologies; Database technologies such as KDB, SQLite Mongo DB, or Cassandra; Financial Engineering; Building data structures & algorithms; Curve construction, capital market product valuation, & latency sensitive tech solution architecture; Designing solutions for high volume (i.e., big data, latency volume of trades); Pricing & risk of fixed income derivatives, bonds, credit products, CVA, FVA, & PnL attribution; Working on a trading floor; &, Leveraging emerging/fast-changing tech such as cloud computing, big data, & machine learning.
Remote work permitted within commuting distance. Approximately 33% travel required to our Canadian offices for internal meetings.
Rate of pay: $255,944 - $270,000/yr.
