The Bank of Nova Scotia seeks Manager, FP&A Forecasting Lead in New York, NY to develop a robust, scalable process to source all relevant forecast information for the purposes of providing a complete, consolidated financial forecast to key U.S. and global stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing data interpretation and analysis including identifying relationships between various data sets and extracting key performance themes and messages from data; collaborating with key stakeholders in developing driver-based forecasting models to support planning & forecasting efforts; utilizing experience with business performance metrics, and ability to interpret risk-adjusted returns; reviewing new business initiatives and assess risk-adjusted returns against targets; and reviewing new systems and applications that enhance forecasting capabilities. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. 40 hours per week. In the alternative the employer will accept a Master's degree in one of the above-listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above-listed skills.
