Software Engineer II, F/T at Truist Bank (Charlotte, NC) Deliver technically complex solutions. Perform system integration support for all project work. Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, configure solutions, using tools specific to the project or the area. Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. Must have 4 years of experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the following:
Applying in-depth knowledge in information systems & ability to identify, apply, & implement IT best practices
Understanding of key business processes & competitive strategies related to the IT function
Planning & managing projects & solve complex problems by applying best practices
Applying broad functional knowledge in defining technology requirements
Interpreting internal & external business challenges & implementing best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Leading technology projects of moderate complexity
Utilizing experience with: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, SQL Server, File-Aid, Xpediter, CA/7, Easytrieve, Rational Developer for z Systems (RDz), MS Visio, CA Workload Automation/ESP Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server, ChangeMan, FileManager, Abend-Aid, SonarQube, ServiceNow, System Architect, IBM Utilities, Velocity Template, Jasper iReport, Groovy, Java, HTML/XML, & Rally
Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of & reports to Truist offices in Charlotte, NC. Must be available to travel to Charlotte, NC regularly for meetings & reviews with manager & project teams within 24-hours' notice.
